Bio
Dan Sparling is a seasoned social worker, church leader, trainer, and speaker with more than 20 years of professional experience serving individuals, leaders, and communities. Since 2003, he has worked in a variety of roles helping people find healing, growth, and stability, while also serving in church leadership. His work is deeply shaped by a commitment to Christ-centered compassion, whole-person care, and the belief that lasting transformation happens when people are supported spiritually, emotionally, and organizationally.
Dan earned a BA in Psychology and Sociology from Purdue University, holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Indiana University, a certification in Nonprofit Organizational Leadership from Duke University, and a certificate in Organizational Structure and Culture from Northwestern University. He has provided training to churches and organizations that help people overcome trauma and is passionate about equipping leaders with trauma-informed care, compassionate intervention, organizational leadership, strategic planning, and healthy structures for sustained success.
Dan has also spoken at conferences and churches, encouraging others to care well for those who have experienced hardship while maintaining strong mental, emotional, and spiritual health in helping and ministry settings.
